my first post
well , well, well I have finaly done it .I am a bloger. TOO COOL !!!! I know that this will get better once i have it all figured out .ha ha HI everyone . love ya Maurice
Our weekend !
Hey All.
Happy to see everyone finding their way here. I was suppose to be posting with two little helpers this evening but both are toasted so it's just me. One's relaxing in the tub, the other's watching Charlotte's Web.
What's a good hotel stay without a good bounce-a-thon on the beds.

Done bouncing, well more like an intermission.
Mon figured out how to set the timer on the camera so we could get a pic of the 3 of us.
This is Mon running back just in time to get in the shot.
Our nine hundred and sixty seven millionth time in the pool. I think I see gills?
Second night at the hotel with some friends.
Arrived home to find out. We got carrotts!!!
Early birthday gift from mommy.
Bike tour to the chicken burger for some supper with Grampy
Took us 40 mins to get there :) FUN!!!

As much fun as it is to just get to talk to me and mine :) I thought it may be even nicer to talk to everyone. So I am adding the whole fame damily as authors. It may be a bit flooded at first but then everyone should settle in just fine.

New Bikes and The Art Gallery, well sort of.
Julia on her new cool OC Chopper bike, she tried to find a cool helmet to match. .. Note the helmet with the baby bears on it. The only size helmets that fit her were the toddlers helmets. So she had choices between Sesame St, Barbie, HA! or the baby bears. She was not at all impressed, she wanted the one with the skulls on it. Surprisingly enough skull helmets don't come in a toddler size.
Mon out and about in her shorts and winter coat (NS spring apparel).
Our one and only pic at the art gallery. Not allowed to take pics inside... It was then that Julia and I realized. What could possible be better than pics of beautiful artwork at the NS Art Gallery?

We're on the school bus. I snapped Jul and she snapped me.
Julia and I once again in the kitchen, in the dirt. We're filling bags with soil for Mon's birthday. She's giving out flower pots, with a bag of seeds and a bag of soil for treat bags.
Heading to bed, night. It felt like a very long day today. After affects of my pothead activities yesterday maybe. Love you two!
Eleven months and counting till we come to visit again :) and we are so counting.
We're heading to the Ramada tomorrow, right after school, till Sunday. I'll get Mon and Jul to take a turn posting on Sunday when we get back :)

Winter in California?
Courtney and I went sking at Big Bare about a month ago. It's about an hour and a half drive from the house.FUN!
Here is me doing my first run ever on a snow board. I picked it up realy quick. I fell hard only two times all day. Not bad...

APRIL 10TH, MONICAS BIRTHDAY!!! Oh ya and whaaa I'm sick :)
Hey you two. So today is Monica's birthday which means, traditional birthday family breakfast which we stole many years ago from Robin and family :) Cup cakes, balloons and gifts at home for breakfast. So here are some pics.

Aside from all the birthday fun we can't forget, ME, I'm sick. Being the wonderful hard working single parent that I am. I realized as sick as I was, I was not going to be able to make it through the day I had planned feeling like I was. So I hit the pharmacy's, I'm not much of a cough, cold, allergy pill taker so I went with the wisdom of our local pharmacist, big mistake. I took one pill, lucked out and had my afternoon assignment cancel. I headed to bed for a much needed nap, set the clock so I would be up to grab the girls at school. My alarm went off, I woke up stoned out of my mind. I still had to get the girls, drop Mon at dance and do council which is broadcast live on TV in 3 hours time. Hmmmmm, what to do what to do? I decided to take it slow and see just how wacked I actually was. I got the kids at school and quickly realized none of the rest of my day was going to happen. One kids mom said hi to me, I giggled, then laughed out loud, then some how formed an intelligent thought and got my butt out of the school with all the Bedford mom's inside. I sat quietly in the car waiting for the girls, trying to look busy so no one else would attempt to talk to me, because I was a mess. I some how managed to get everyone home safe and sound. I called and canceled council which I have never done before but the mayor, all the council members, tv cameras and me stoned seemed like a very bad idea. Thank God for the one last remaining brain cell that made that decision. So I called up my babysitter to get Mon back and forth to dance, mom watched Julia and I went to bed to sleep off my drug induced state of ridiculously goofy, not at all appropriate single mom behavior on her daughters 11th birthday. So proud, so proud, yup, where's my mother of the year award?
Mother of the year sorta kinda well not really.
